I Have Just Spent 24 Hours Watching Online Videos
I have just completed a 24 hour video marathon over the weekend with a few friends. We managed to fit in some of the truly great science fiction offerings of all time. Of course a large chunk of time was devoted to the Star Wars movies, but we also managed to get to see a few other classics as well. But at the moment I feel completely drained. It really does feel like I've just finished a marathon; or at least a mental marathon anyway.
Initially, the idea of watching 24 hours straight online video was a bit of fun. Joe, my friend, was saying that his girlfriend complains constantly that he spends far too much time watching TV. We all love to watch movies and usually spend most of our time talking about them. The initial idea of a video marathon was to just do it so as to annoy Joe's girlfriend. But as we talked about it, we realised that we would probably like to do it for real. Watching movies for a straight twenty four hours was something that we were all curious about. Would we even be able to stay awake for 24 hours?
We had plenty of provisions for this marathon. Every single person brought a bag of snacks. I had plenty of coffee on hand and I ordered in some pizzas. We debated hard about what movies we were going to watch during the marathon. We all agreed that Star Wars must be on the menu but the other choices were a bit of a dilemma. I really wanted to watch one of the Star Trek movies and thankfully, they all allowed me to get my way. We all enjoyed watching these movies despite the fact that we had all seen each one of them before.
Since its beginning, the net has allowed us to get pleasure from such a number of things. Among the thing s we're now able to do are sending e-mail, shopping searching for answers and looking for information - and a whole lot more besides. One of the better things we are able to do though is watch movies online for free.
